Text Effects

Select a text layer, pick an effect, and Text Effects converts the type to vector outlines and inserts an animated version as a nested scene layer.

The original text layer is never destroyed. It stays in the scene with visibility off, so the type remains editable: unhide it, change the words, and re-run the effect.

19 presets across five families:

Line, the type as contour: Ink-Trap, Teletype, Laser-Cut, Limelight Finish, what the letterforms are made of: Chromia, Gold Foil, Iridescent 3D, repeated in space: Anaglyph-3D, Echo-Verse, Deep-Type Letter, each glyph animated on its own: Tidal-Type, Jitterbug, Rubber-Band, Kinetic-Type, Pendulum Glitch, the word coming apart: Glitchcore, RGB Shift, Pixel Sort, Data Tear

Every preset carries an honest fidelity badge right in the panel, so nobody is promised a pixel perfect copy of an effect that Lottie cannot fully express.
